Solution for Rotating Conductive Slip Rings in Stage Systems

In order to achieve 360 ° surround sound effects in auditoriums or large stages, it is generally necessary to equip many speakers. Compared to ordinary appliances, the power of the audio system will be greater. When the power supply of this audio system is connected to a 360 ° rotating device, a conductive slip ring with strong current transmission capability needs to be installed to meet its power output requirements. In response to the power transmission requirements of the audio system, JINPAT has chosen the standard plug-in slip ring LPR-2H as the solution. The JINPAT LPR series slip rings are designed to replace mercury slip rings and can also transmit large currents with a maximum operating voltage of 380VAC. Taking the JINPAT LPR-2H as an example, its operating voltage is 240VAC and it has 2 channels, each of which can transmit 25A current, fully meeting the power transmission requirements of sound systems in auditoriums, stages, and other occasions.

However, some stages require the effect of rotation, and in order to supply power to many high-power devices on the stage, slip rings with stronger power transmission capabilities are needed, even requiring slip rings to have the function of transmitting signals. JINPAT has designed and developed a series of conductive slip rings for rotating stages, including hollow shaft series and high current series. Among them, the representative models of the hollow shaft series are LPT025-2410 LPT000-1916-0402-E3-HD01, The representative product of the high current series is LPA000-04120. Among the three products mentioned above, LPT025-2410 is a standard hollow shaft slip ring. This series of products is available in 5A, 10A, 15A, with different aperture sizes, and can be selected from 6, 12, 18, and 24 channels. This slip ring is a standard product with a through-hole diameter of 25.4mm, 24 current paths, and a current flow intensity of 10A. It can transmit a total power of 52.8KW.

The other hollow shaft series product LPT000-1916-0402-E3-HD01 is a customized product that integrates different sizes of current loops, gigabit Ethernet channels, and HDMI high-definition video channels. So this slip ring can not only meet the power transmission requirements of the rotating stage, but also transmit many signals, which can meet the various video information output needs on the stage.

The last LPA000-04120 is a typical high current slip ring, with a working voltage of 380VAC and the ability to transmit 182.4KW power. In addition to being able to transmit high power, the biggest feature of this slip ring is its high protection level, reaching IP66. Under this protection level, it can enable the rotating stage to operate and work normally in outdoor rainy and foggy weather conditions.
