Introduction to Ultra Micro HD Video Signal Slip Ring

In the customized slip ring of JINPAT Electronics, it can transmit HD video signals with different bit rates. It has to be mentioned that JINPAT Electronics provides the market with more than 100 products integrating HD video signal channels every year. Among these signal slip rings, except for a small number of slip rings that use HDMI and DP lines to transmit computer video signals, many other types of slip rings use coaxial lines to transmit high-definition video signals. The distinct advantage of coaxial lines is that there is no need to lay super complex wire combinations inside the slip ring, which greatly saves space.

Because of the characteristics of the coaxial line itself, the slip ring used as the HD video signal transmission medium can be made in a small size. LPMS-12U-0202-05S-SD1 is the SD HD video signal slip ring with the smallest diameter developed by JINPAT Electronics on the basis of standard product LPNS-12U. The overall dimension of this type of slip ring is the same as that of the standard product. The diameter and length are 6.5mm and 17.4mm respectively. In addition to one HD-SDI HD video signal channel, the slip ring also integrates two 2A currents and five other signal circuits.

LPMS-12U-0202-05S-SD1, as the smallest high-definition video signal slip ring developed by JINPAT Electronics, can transmit the highest holding capacity of 1080P@30Hz Bit rate HD-SDI signal path. Still, LPMS-12U-0202-05S-SD1 is only one of the symbolic products developed by JINPAT on the basis of LPMS ultra micro slip ring.

For example, JINPAT LPMS-08A-0301-SD2-01S and LPMS-10B-0201-03S-SD1 are developed on the basis of JINPAT standard products LPMS-08A and LPMS-10B   respectively. Therefore, their product dimensions and standard products are the same. The diameter and length of the former are 9mm and 11.7mm respectively, while the latter are 10.5 and 13.6mm, which are very pocket. The difference is that LPMS-08A-0301-SD2-01S integrated slip ring can transmit high-definition video signals of 3G-SDI (highest bit rate HD video signal of 1080P@60Hz),which LPMS-10B-0201-03S-SD1 is the same as LPMS-12U-0202-05S-SD1, which can only transmit the highest bit rate HD video signal of 1080P@30Hz.

If clients have more stringent requirements on the size of the slip ring, JINPAT Electronics can also develop new customized products based on the LPMS-08D with a diameter of only 5.5mm, so as to further reduce the volume of the slip ring. Of course, since the number of channels of LPMS-08D slip ring is less than 4, its integrated other signal or current channels must be less than that of LPMS-12 series (12 channels).
